WSH Committee Members’ Training

Objective
By the end of the course, the participants should be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the basic requirements under the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislation
• Explain the role of the WSH Committee members
• Carry out hazard identification and risk assessment, and propose control measures
• Discuss the procedures for accident investigation

• Hazards in the workplace
• Occupational Health
• Risk Management
• Accident Investigation & Prevention
• Safety Inspection
• Emergency Preparedness

Target Group: WSH Committee members

Chemical Safety Training

Objective:

At the end of the course, the participants should be able to:

• Explain the legal requirements for chemical handling.
• Demonstrate understanding of the safety data sheet (SDS).
• Explain the specific hazards of some common hazardous substances.
• Explain the precautions to be taken to prevent excessive exposure to hazardous substances

Target Group: Supervisors & workers handling chemicals
